Study App Series Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (these "Terms") set out the conditions for using the Study App Series (the "App"), a study app for certification and licensing exams available on iOS and Android.
Summary: paid features in the App are available through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable App Store or Google Play terms, and where these Terms conflict with those store terms, the store terms control. The learning content does not guarantee that you will pass any exam or achieve any particular result.

2. Application
These Terms set out the conditions for using the App. By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
3. Relationship with Store Terms
Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of the App Store or Google Play, in addition to these Terms.
If these Terms conflict with the applicable store terms, the store terms will control.
4. License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5. Prohibited Conduct
When using the App, you must not do any of the following.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, redistribute, or reproduce the App or its content without authorization
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App
- Infringe the rights of other users or third parties
- Violate any applicable law
6. Paid Features (One-Time Purchase)
Some features of the App are available through a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Each purchase is a single payment, and no further charges will follow.
Features unlocked by a purchase can be restored on your other supported devices using the same store account you used to purchase them.
Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable App Store or Google Play terms. We do not process refunds directly.
7. Learning Content
The learning content provided in the App is intended to support your studies and does not guarantee that you will pass any certification or examination, or achieve any particular result.
We make reasonable efforts regarding the accuracy of the content, but we do not guarantee its completeness.
8. Intellectual Property
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the App and its content belong to us or to their rightful owners.
Open-source software and the bundled font used in the App are subject to their respective licenses, which you can review in the App's "Open Source Licenses" screen.
9. Handling of Data
Your learning data is stored on your device. The export and import features let you save and load this data yourself.
Data on your device may be lost if you lose your device or delete the App. We recommend backing up your data periodically.

10. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may change the content of the App, or add or remove features, without prior notice to you.
We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice where practical, but under unavoidable circumstances we may suspend or discontinue the App without notice.
11. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the App beyond those that would ordinarily arise, except where such damages result from our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Use by Minors
If you are a minor, please use the App only with the consent of a parent or other legal guardian.
13. Changes to These Terms
Under Article 548-4 of the Civil Code of Japan, we may amend these Terms if the amendment benefits users generally, or if it is consistent with the purpose of the contract for using the App and is reasonable in light of the need for the amendment, the appropriateness of the revised terms, this amendment provision, and other circumstances relating to the amendment.
We will set an effective date and, before that date, announce that the Terms will change, the revised Terms, and their effective date on this page or by another appropriate method. The revised Terms will apply from the announced effective date.
For amendments that do not meet the conditions above, we will obtain each user's individual consent.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
Any dispute between you and us relating to the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our principal place of business as the court of first instance.
